Ans: If you are participant who have successfully registered online, please read the “Activity reminder email” carefully (the “Activity reminder email” will be sent 3 days before the workshop starts. Since the email may end up in the Junk/Promotion Mail, please check all categories of mailbox. If you are still not getting the email, please contact us at 3750 7050).

If you are participant who registered on-site (whether it is a first list quota or a waitlist quota), please carefully read the “Confirmation SMS” which sent to the mobile no. you provided during on-site registration. If you do not receive the SMS, please approach staff for assistance.

Notes for Online/On-site registered participants:

1.     Online registered participants/First list participants are required to arrive at the “Workshop Check-in Counter” which located at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park, and report to the staff according to the designated check-in time as stated in the “Online registration Confirmation Email”/“Confirmation SMS”, as well as to collect the “Participant Sticker” from the staff. Participants should put the sticker on their clothes and must not lose it.

2.    If an Online registered participant/First list participant fails to arrive at the “Workshop Check-in Counter” at the designated check-in time and report to the staff, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited and the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify his/her from participating in the workshop and the spot will be given to a candidate on the waiting list.

3.    Candidates on waiting list are required to arrive at the “Waitlist Waiting Area” which located at 2/F, Lakeside 2(10W), Phase II, Hong Kong Science Park, and report to the staff according to the designated check-in time as stated in the “Confirmation SMS(Waitlist)”. If any Online registered participants or first list participants fail to arrive and report to staff at the designated check-in time, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited. An announcement will be made that those spots will be offered to candidates on the waiting list who have arrived on time at the Waitlist Waiting Area and checked in with staff, in the order of their registration. Please be patient while awaiting the results.

4.    If a candidate on the waiting list does not arrive on time or report to staff at the Waitlist Waiting Area, his/her spot shall be deemed forfeited. The next candidate on the waiting list who has checked in on time will have priority to fill in the spot.

5.    All workshops are categorised based on the specified grade/age of participants. Participants must meet the specified grade/age requirements of the respective workshop while time interval between registered activities must not be overlapped (including physical activities and online seminars).

6.    Participants of the physical parent-child workshop (applicable to “Type A: Families / Small Groups / Individuals” accounts that successfully registered online and families registered on-site) must be accompanied by at least one, and no more than two adults.

7.    Failure to present the “Online registration Confirmation Email”/” Confirmation SMS” to staff will be result in disqualification from participating in the workshop.

8.    Regarding the Standard Time for the Activity: All activity times are governed by the standard time as indicated by the Hong Kong Observatory time server. For details, please refer to: https://www.hko.gov.hk/en/gts/time/clock_e.html

Before departure, please ensure that the time on your mobile phone or watch is synchronized with the Hong Kong Observatory’s time server on the day of the event. This will help avoid any discrepancies between your device’s time and the official activity time during check-in.
